SPORT
Golf
Val di Non is the perfect home for the most impressive golf course in Trentino: the Dolomiti Golf Club. It was here that the Hapsburgs played a century ago. It is a marvellous 18-hole course, rightly considered by all golf enthusiasts to be one of the most technically challenging courses in the whole of the Alps, situated in the beautiful setting of Alta Val di Non. It can be reached in just 15 minutes.
Mountain Bike
In our hotel in Trentino, every cyclist will find their ideal route as soon as they step out of the hotel.
In fact, the characteristics of the Val di Non area, with its spectacular routes, mean that mountain bike riders make this splendid location a regular fixture. There are many itineraries, suitable for experts and less experienced bikers that can be undertaken.
For the less experienced, it is also possible to rent e-bikes to move more easily among the green of our trails!
The nearby Mendola Pass, the mountain pass that separates Trentino from South Tyrol, is also worth mentioning, as it is the ideal place for mountain bike and outdoor sports enthusiasts.

A recommended trekking route is in the Maddalene mountain group: here there are many hiking trails that lead from the valley floor to the alpine pastures, natural lakes and mountain peaks.
The Adamello Brenta Park also offers a perfect environment for excursions, among woods, meadows and rocky environments. The park is teeming with flora and fauna: one of its most distinctive features is the brown bear, but you can also spot foxes, beech martens and chamois!

The Noce River and the Canyons of Val di Non
An unforgettable, adrenaline-filled experience, an extreme sport that is suitable for almost everyone: rafting is a fun and stimulating activity that can be practised on the river Noce in the nearby Val Sole.
Aboard a kayak, abseiling with a rope or simply wearing a helmet and a cape, it is possible to discover incredible views in the canyons of Val di Non: deep gorges dug over time by the flow of streams. Crystal-clear waterfalls tens of metres high, narrow passages carved into the rock, dark and mysterious gorges overlooking deep ravines, fossils, giants' potholes, stalactites and stalagmites. True natural wonders that can also be admired on foot, thanks to walkways, ladders or on board a kayak guided by skilled guides.

Horse riding
There are several riding centres in the area: starting from one of these stables, it is possible to take a horseback ride and follow the ancient pilgrims' paths, moving between evocative hermitages and blossoming apple orchards, perhaps skirting one of the many Trentino castles in the background.

The Sanctuary of San Romedio
The Sanctuary of San Romedio is one of the most distinctive hermitages bearing witness to the Christian faith in Europe and stands on the summit of a rocky spur more than 70 metres high. It is also often referred to for the wildlife area adjacent to its entrance where brown bears live in semi-freedom. It can also be reached via a characteristic panoramic passage carved into the rock.
Thun Castle and the other castles in the Valley
There are many castles and noble residences in Val di Non. The best known is Castel Thun, one of the most important museum complexes in the entire Alpine arc, peripheral seat of the famous Buonconsiglio Castle in Trento. Also worth seeing is Castel Valer, one of the most elegant castles in the valley. The manor is situated in a panoramic position and is surrounded by apple orchards. A true marvel of nobility, still inhabited by the family that owns it!
Tovel and the other lakes
Val di Non is one of the regions of Trentino with the greatest number of waterways and enchanting lakes. These are natural beauties framed in dreamlike environments, such as Lake Tovel, immersed in the Adamello Brenta Nature Park. Lake Santa Giustina is also worth a visit, a place that, even from a distance, enchants with its incredible panorama.
Rose Garden in Ronzone
It is a large collection of the many different types of roses found in western gardens, an ideal place for lovers of nature and botany. The rose garden is arranged in homogeneous groups of roses associated with herbaceous perennials, shrubs and climbers, and covers an area of 8500 m². From this garden, a view extends over the vast landscape and the mountains of Upper Anaunia as far as the Adamello Brenta Park and the Maddalene mountain range.
The Brenta Dolomites
An Unesco World Heritage Site, the Dolomites are marvellous mountains known throughout the world and famous for their beauty. They are the ideal place both for trekking routes and for getting lost amidst scents, smells and natural panoramas of rare beauty.
